Back to school

I didn't go to artschool today, because I had to work. I hate it.
I have found some old art I have done during the last semester. The 3 pictures above are some illustrations for a paper called FAS ( Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung)
This is just some training, it was never published and i even do not like it that much, because i was never interested in that kind of illustration.
But as you can see, i have some other stuff. I have to go to paint once in a week. It is always the same backround and always the same model, but somehow, it is never bowring. Maybe because i am such a fucked up painter, it is always a fight;). This is one of the pictures i made.

I also began to scan my scetches I made during some journeys.


This is my first drawing in this scetchbook. It was done in Las Vegas and shows an statue that stood in the middle of a casino. The next drawing is from Los Angeles. I had some freetime in the librery and i just went in the park to draw.


When you exit the librery in LA you can see this moving staircase with weird architecture around. It really looks weird. The next day we ate Dim Sum. It was a big restaurant in chinatown. That stuff was amazing. We had to wait for our number, so i had some time to draw
.



When we ate i made a drawing of the wagons, that brought the food and of the woman who served everything for us. She had quite a nice dress. And yeah, on the left you can see our motel in chinatown.

I have some more scetches, maybe i will have some time to put them online tomorrow greetings russlan

scetchbook collaboration

Well, I am quite finished today. I wanted to Ink the 3rd page, because I am done with the double page.. But after a course at the artschool and 4 hours inking in the morning I just can't do it anymore. I think if you can't do your best, don't do it :) I have to paint tomorrow at 9 at my artschool, so I better get my sleep and start to ink the next page tomorrow. Then the inks will be way better, 20 pages to go and the greytone also ..... deamn. But I still want to show you some stuff. These short comic was a collaboration between myself and some comicartists I know. We drew itr in my scetchbook during some freetime in bars ore at boring courses. Enjoy it, the story is called Baboons out of space. We never finished the story, becouse i finished the scetchboook and forgot the comic somehow ( and of couse, some guys, me also, fucked up some drawings). Maybe later, I will reanimate the Idea and get back to it.

Inking in progress

Today i started to ink my main project, the perry rhodan comic. I am not satisfied with a lot of the details, but tomorrow will be a new day and I hope i will manage to correct some of the fucked up cyborgs or the shadow of the guy. I hope i will manage to add some greytones at my artschool, my computer seems way too slow for that big scan. I hope you enjoy my stuff

I had to draw a comic about someone who is living in my house at my artschool. I decided to make one about a fictitious neighbour i have. I was born and grew up in russia, so this comic is called the russian and tells a story about a russian in Hamburg. Enjoy it, it is completely without text.

A friend of mine has his birthday today and i made a birthdaycard during some freetime i had. Here it is, maybe a liddle bit too strange but who cares.

Scetchbook

I am always having a scetchbook down in my bag and draw during my freetime and sometimes during work ;)
Today I have thought about putting all that stuff online, just to show. The scans take so much damn time that I have decided to scan it piece after piece. I think i have 3 scetchbooks from 2009, so enjoy some first pieces.

Yer Yep Yep, A few weeks ago we had the 24 hour comicday. I finished after 16 hours and managed today to put the whole 24 pages and the 2 covers online. The pages have been finished during the 24 h comicday, the covers later.
